The Cwtch is new in for 2023, a cosy cottage which blends traditional charm and modern design. Ground floor: Kitchen with dining area, along with a lounge featuring a log burner perfect for the colder months. First floor: One double bedroom and a separate single bedroom (suitable for a child). Family bathroom including bath with an overhead shower. No pets.. Set in beautiful surroundings in the county of Carmarthenshire. Ideally located to explore the wonderful beaches and castles that we have to offer. Just a short 3 mile drive to the stunning National Botanical Gardens of Wales. Shops and restaurants 2 miles away. perfectly positioned to visit the Gower peninsula, Pembrokeshire coastline and the Brecon Beacons.

Ideally located to explore the wonderful beaches and castles that we have to offer. Just a short 3 mile drive to the stunning National Botanical Gardens of Wales. Cosy but airy. Lots of natural light. The photos didn't do it justice. It's a lovely spot for a calm getaway.

Really sweet property, which could be excellent with a little more care and attention to detail. Great size and layout and location and perfect for two of us. The cottage and the decor/finishing touches were lovely. However, here is what we feel is needed. Some instructions and a welcome pack. 2 takeaway menus didnt really seem helpful. A small sign to locate the property on the road would be ideal, or at least a photo of the front so you know which cottage youre looking for. The kitchen and bathroom both have mould and/or grease and they could do with an upgrade but especially a deep clean. There are cobwebs throughout the property and it was very dusty behind the beds. The curtains in the small bedroom need repair. The sofa was saggy, uncomfortable and it smelt stale. It needs a serious clean. Even in May, we were cold at night and do not understand not having control of the heating. Water tank in cupboard in the main bedroom has quite a constant annoying drip.

Thanks for the good value for money stay over the may bank holiday weekend. The cottage was warm and didnt need any heating as it was quite a warm weekend however it is in desperate need of a proper deep clean. The bath and sink were clean, the kitchen surfaces were ok and there was minimal dust in high activity areas (tv, table etc). That is where the cleanlines ran out. The carpets, sofas and other areas are in desperate need of a severe deep clean. The sofa actually smells really musty and it was actually unpleasant to sit on sometimes. There were areas of dust which a swiffer could easily reach. The oven was really grimey, so much so you had to was you hands after touching the knobs, the side of the fridge needed a clean too. Some parts of the bathroom had never seen a cloth in weeks, the mouldy soap scum was a bit gros. There is so much potential but they really need to pay attention to detail and it would be a glorious place to stay.
