This charming cottage in the Gwendraeth Valley is the ideal place to relax and unwind and is only a short distance from the quaint village of Pontyates (1 mile). Situated on a 7 acre smallholding including horses, sheep, goats, and chickens, this lovely cottage was once a barn. Kidwelly, a historic market town on Carmarthen Bay, offers a variety of shops and cafes, as well as a museum, a 12th century castle, and the Glan Yr Afon nature reserve (4 miles). Great days out can be had at the National Botanic Garden of Wales (10 miles) and Pembrey Country Park (8 miles) or enjoy the 2 mile Kidwelly Canal and Quay walk which is a haven for bird watchers. After a long day of exploring, step through the front door and into the beamed lounge which is the ideal place to unwind in front of the Smart TV. Alternatively, open the French doors and enjoy the sun in the enclosed south facing courtyard garden. Head through into the light and airy kitchen/dining area which is well equipped for cooking a delicious meal, for everyone to enjoy around the dining table that seats four. A handy separate WC is also located on the ground floor.
