Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, making this a wonderful choice for guests who enjoy travelling with their four-legged companions. When it’s time to explore, Garnffrwd Park is less than 4 miles from The National Botanical Gardens of Wales.  The Gardens are both a visitor attraction and a centre for botanical research and conservation.  It features the world's largest single-span glasshouse, measuring 110m by 60m.  Dogs are allowed in the Garden every Monday, Friday and the first weekend of every month.

Continue to Carmarthen, known for its historic castle, bustling market, and a selection of shops and eateries. Porthyrhyd is a small village in Carmarthenshire, with the river Mynys flowing through it, which gives the village its name - "Gateway to the Ford". Perfectly located to explore all the surrounding attractions, Porthyrhyd allows visitors to stay close at home to enjoy walks and cycle rides, or head to the coast to enjoy the Millenium cycle track. Venture a few miles to the wonderful Aberglasney Gardens, Pembrey Country Park with superb sandy beach and dry ski slope, Ffos Las racecourse, Kidwelly Castle, the steam railway at Carmarthen and much more. For the shoppers in your party you have the choice of larger shopping towns of Swansea and Carmarthen plus the beautifully unique shops in nearby Llandeilo.
