The house is very comfortable, spacious, so sympathetically perfect for relaxation and slowing down. We enjoyed cooking in the very well equipped kitchen, dining in the separate dining room which can be warmly lit for lovely dinners as well as being a bright morning room looking out into the garden. The lounge is large, comfy and full of interest - we had some great family evenings in our chosen seats for the week! Again the lighting is super. We loved the bathroom, so much space and light. Each of us enjoyed our respective bedrooms which are decorated with wallpapers and traditional furnishings. Itâs just a lovely place to be. The village is a great base to explore from, the castle is ever present over the river and bridge which lead to the high street. We already look forward to returning and highly recommend.
