On the South West Wales coast, this small beach village is located between the old mining town of Llanelli and picturesque Burry Port. It has an elevation position rising away from the coast with views of the Gower Peninsula, as well as the Amelia Earhart Plaque, which honours the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean, who landed near Pwll in June 1928. There are also a couple bars in the village, as well as a local shop, pet shop, and Post Office. Visit Burry Port's lively harbour and see the fisherman return to shore with their boats filled with fish, or visit Pembrey Country Park's 8-mile-long Cefn Sidan beach and 550 acres of beautiful woodland.

They kept ringing us back but witht no solution , no help, no information. This was a managed property but the responsibiliy was handed over to the cleaning company who don't do midweek visits. It is the responsibility of the property managers to tell guests what does not work - if the doors from the games room don't open because the frame is not fixed , the least they could do is put a sign saying "do not open this door". If the cinema room does not work , tell us before we waste time, tell us how to put on the power to the shower. There were no "house" instructions - it would have been so easy if the "managers " had a electronic copy of the house guide then they could to email it - instead of saying they had to ring the cleaning company - the mangers knew nothing and were not nearby. I was shocked when I asked how to recycle and what to do with the rubbish and was told that it was very complicated and they didn't even know the answer to that There is a suggestion book in the property and a July guest had made some very simple suggestions , like small glasses - there were only pint glasses which didn't fit in the dishwasher, there were no bins in the rooms or batrooms , there were no bedside tables, only 6 chairs and we were 8 guests - these are things a good manager would sort out in a couple of hours. THEY ARE BEING PAID The owners are abroad which is why the property is being managed - these are not the duties of the cleaning company. I was told that the first person I contacted was in North Wales and every day got another excuse, I feel that this is the standard for this company - if you can fob off the guests for long enough , their week is over and they can just do the same for the next guests. This management company is a waste of money. The property could be lovely.
