The surrounding area is known as the Garden of Wales, so you can expect a plethora of gardens to explore, including the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney, a garden lost in time, or if you are bringing two-wheels along, look forward to the network of mountain bike trails within the Brechfa Forest. For those feeling active, find plenty of outdoor action here too, with the River Towy offering great salmon and sewin fishing, whilst the many woodland walks offer opportunities to catch glimpses of wildlife, including red kites, owls, badgers and deer. Alternatively, travel further afield towards the Gower Peninsula, which plays host to an array of stunning beaches, including Three Cliffs Bay and Rhossili Bay, whilst the Black Mountain and Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons National Park) are just a scenic drive away, ideal for any avid ramblers.
