Ideally located on the outskirts of Menai Bridge, The Old Mill sits on the edge of the Menai Strait on the island of Anglesey. This luxurious holiday apartment has a bright and welcoming sitting room with full length balcony which has been designed to maximise the stunning views over the water.

The quirky and fun kitchen is a great space. There is a stunning Mural which has been painted by the owner and the table has been cleverly made to look like sea with a combination of paints. It has an oven, dishwasher, fridge / freezer, microwave and all the pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery you need as well as many thoughtful extras too. There is a breakfast bar and small dining table and chairs and TV.

The sitting and dining area is a large stunning room with two French windows leading out to a full length balcony. The wooden flooring is furnished with comfortable chairs and sofas and a dining table.

A utility room houses a washing machine / tumble dryer and additional fridge.

On the first floor there is a double bedroom with king size bed. Opposite the master bedroom there is a large bathroom with double ended bath, corner shower, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. There is also a small peaceful library area upstairs. The books are changed regularly.

On the floor above there are three further bedrooms, one double with super king size bed, a further double and a single room. There is a bathroom with bath, separate shower, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. This floor also benefits from an extra loo and wash hand basin.

Outside there is a full length balcony with furniture and parking for two cars.

The Old Mill is located on the edge of the small town of Menai Bridge, where the famous Telford suspension bridge joins Anglesey to the mainland. There are lovely walks, you can join the Anglesey coastal path, visit small independent shops, a butcher with deli and a proper vegetable shop, and there is a choice of pubs and restaurants, all on the doorstep.

With full central heating and every comfort taken care of this is the perfect holiday house to relax and enjoy, whatever the weather or time of year.

We love the little extra touches, like the provision of a lovely wicker picnic hamper for guests to use, packed with brightly coloured plates and cups, a picnic cloth and napkins as well as glass bottles with stoppers.

This is a first floor apartment so may not be suitable for the very young or infirm.

This delightful town sits right on the edge of the Isle of Anglesey and is home to one of two bridges to mainland Wales. It is an ideal base for a holiday and is great for exploring this beautiful island. It has a strong history which can be discovered in the Menai Bridge Heritage Museum, the well known Saint Tysilio lived on Church Island, just off of Anglesey in the 9th century, hence the name of the 14th century St. Tysilio's Church. Menai Bridge itself offers a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. In terms of entertainment, this is an ideal spot with something for everybody, there is the butterfly palace 'Pili Palas' which is incredibly popular with families, as well as the astounding Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens well worth a walk around. The Snowdonia National Park is within driving distance for you outdoor enthusiasts, it has wonderful walking, cycling and opportunities to see some beautiful sights. Nearer to the town, there are some incredible places including the popular towns of Beaumaris and Caernarfon with their majestic castles and much more to do.
