Fishing is permitted with the relevant license and there is carp of various sizes in the lakes. This is not advertised as it is not a fishery, but guests are able to fish from their lodge if there is decking on the lake or on common areas around the lake. All fish must be returned and there is no charge.
Group Bookings/Party Types:
Infants must be included in the party total. The site does not allow group bookings, stag or hen parties.

We had the best time in this beautiful lodge ! The surroundings were perfect and oh my.. the bed !! The only things that we would have liked is maybe a little welcome pack with things to do in the local area, or nearest shops etc, and where to go to get fire wood for the lovely log burner. We will be back 🩷

An amazing lodge really well equipped the owners Tracey and Daz keep you informed via friendly emails This will have been our overall 6th time at lakeside lodges and our 3rd in Alaw lodge and we will be returning next year.

Lovely spacious comfortable cabin. Lovely welcoming pack (extra with robes, chocolates, flowers and champagne).Hot tub maintenance staff come round twice per week and are very friendly. They service lots of local sites and are impressed with this one as they contract for support and services above and beyond the basic minimum toensure the hot tubs are in prime condition.Only slight downside is some of the decking on the verandah is reaching the end of its life and could do with replacing soon, but still perfectly functional.
