No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced lake in the grounds, 10 yards away.. A delightful, mid-terraced cottage with glorious views over Carribber Loch and the surrounding woodland. This is an ideal base for friends and families to relax in, just 3 miles from historic Linlithgow and an easy 25-minute train journey from Edinburgh. Carribber Beech Cottage lies within the extensive grounds of the owner’s home with a trout fishery in the lochs beside the cottages. The cottage has three attractive bedrooms, three bathrooms and an open plan ground floor living area which opens onto a private patio area.
There are good walks from the doorstep, with more extended routes nearby. Linlithgow Palace, the House of the Binns and Hopetoun House give fascinating insights into life in past times, or you can visit the gigantic Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel to admire contemporary engineering and design. There is easy access to Stirling and Glasgow, as well as Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park. Beach 17 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

It was a perfect location and very peaceful. The area is very interesting too. Only it was very disappointing not to find ANY form of a Welcome Pack, not even Milk or Wine!
