This lodge was perfect for us, exactly what we were looking for for our trip to Scotland. We were met on arrival by chris and Caroline who were the most lovely people, they gave us lots of information about the estate and the lodge but then gave us privacy during our stay. The lodge was spacious, very clean, comfortable, well equipped and warm. French doors lead out to a large decking area to watch the amazing wildlife right outside. .We had red squirrels, woodpeckers ducks and numerous smaller birds at the bird table right outside. And the location? Absolutely amazing! Just outside killin but with direct access to a cycle way network which was approx 25min walking into killin along the most beautiful scenery. Killin itself was a lovely small village with local shops and a well stocked co op. It's at the end of loch tay and also has the falls of dochart as you come into the village. We will certainly be back!

Larch is a cosy, pine-built, self-contained holiday cabin in beautiful rural surroundings adjacent to the Rob Roy Way and close to the small town of Killin. The cabin is within easy reach of various walks, attractions and amenities by foot or by car. We're keen walkers and didn't use the car at all for several days of our stay. Red squirrels are doing well in this area and, alongside all sorts of other local wildlife, provide constant entertainment through the patio windows. This is a fine, competitively priced base for exploring the Loch Tay area.

Larch Lodge was a gem of a find, such a lovely location, we had very cheeky red squirrels feeding from the porch, also numerous tits, nuthatch and finches. The lodge itself was very comfy and well equipped, the owners are lovely and very helpful. Lovely walks around the area and only a 20 minute stroll into Killin along a woodland footpath. The co-op in Killin is well stocked but lots of small friendly shops along the High Street. We will definitely be back.
