The chalet is a wonderful holiday home. Having rented all over the UK, we were particularly impressed by the thought and attention to detail that has gone into the layout and facilities. I'd mentioned in advance that it was our wedding anniversary during our stay and on arrival, the chalet was beautifully decorated for the occasion with lots of lovely complimentary touches that made us feel special.The beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of indoor seating for four. The kitchen is compact (as expected in a chalet) but has everything you need. WiFi is excellent and there are two smart TVs of decent quality. On top of this, the outside space is simply stunning both in terms of views and range of seating available at multiple places in the grounds - we counted nine different outdoor seating options in all! It was so relaxing sitting in the hot tub with a drink and our own playlist on the provided Bluetooth speaker, looking out across the river at fields and hills. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay. The location was incredibly peaceful, and the hot tub was a real highlight—private, secluded, and with lovely views across the surrounding fields.There were plenty of outdoor spaces to sit and relax, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Although we didn't get the chance to use the outdoor movie area, it looked fantastic and would be a great addition to any stay.The owner was very friendly and helpful on arrival, making us feel welcome from the start.Unfortunately, the weather was too warm for us to make use of the log burner, but it looked great and would be perfect on cooler evenings. There were also several outdoor fire pits available. The riverside seating area was another standout feature and looked like a beautiful spot to relax and take in the scenery.Overall, a lovely place to stay, with excellent facilities and a tranquil setting. We would happily return.
