Conveniently situated on the outskirts of the stunning village of Church Broughton in Derbyshire, a quiet village and until the early part of the 20th century, part of the Duke of Devonshire’s vast Derbyshire estates. The countryside around Church Broughton offers numerous scenic walking trails for nature enthusiasts. You can take leisurely strolls through the village and explore the serene countryside, enjoying the fresh air and the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. Visit Tutbury Castle, a medieval fortress with a rich history, or head to Sudbury Hall for a dose of local heritage. Explore the nearby National Forest, home to various flora and fauna, and perhaps even spot some wildlife during your stay. Fantastic trip away, had everything needed for a long weekend away and very clean. Would suggest a car to get out and about as there are lots of lovely places to visit. Would highly recommend and looking forward to going back in the future.
