Just some 30 minutes south of Edinburgh city centre and within a distance of many diverse places of interest from historic buildings, this pod offers guests a private wood-fired hot tub and cold tub, extensive gardens, better described as a field, and everything you would expect to find in a modern holiday home.
The open-plan space internally is designed for two adults and offers an alternative style of accommodation, perfect for those who value a blend of elegance and nature. There is a dining area, a living area in front of the Smart TV and a modern kitchen which is surprisingly well-equipped for the type of property. A comfy kingsize bed fits perfectly into the space and the shower room has a larger double-size shower base. On the chilly evenings, you’ll be cosy and toasty with the underfloor heating. The elevated decking area at the entrance is the perfect place to enjoy the surroundings, and a wood-fired hot tub is a fantastic addition to your experience.
The plethora of activities in the area should suit anyone, with Pentland Country Park where as well as climbing and exploring there is the Alpine Coaster at Hillend. Cycling trails are nearby around Peebles and Midlothian and bikes can be accommodated on selected Border Buses. Walking in Leadburn Community Wood is just 5 minutes away. Two supermarkets within 3 miles, selection of cafe’s, bars and restaurants within 5 miles, and beach 15 miles.

Hazel and Jim were such friendly hosts, which made the stay even better. They were quick to help with everything. The pod is clean and very cosy. Once you figured out how to get there, its easy to find. We will be back for sure :)
