it was a great location for the break that we had planned, very quiet and great to take the dog as there was plenty of places to take her out for both quick and longer walks

The location of the property is just great- literally a stones throw from the Mellerstein House, looking onto a lovely courtyard, with instant access to the magnificent gardens. The gardens were absolutely stunning- with deer, squirrels and more wild life. The clock house is very comfy, with lots of room to relax, and a great hot shower, with lots of hot water. The kitchen was reasonably equipped, and it was easy to make our own meals at the appartment, instead of eating out every night- whch can get expensive. Internet worked well, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are well equipped with towel heaters, in case anything does need drying. A lovely stay- would recommend it to others who want a week away- seeing the sights in the Border Area- Melrose; Kelso, Abbortsford, the Abbeys in Melrose,, Jedburgh and of course Dryburgh. just wonderful.
