This is a very comfortable cosy cottage. Ideal for if you want to get away from things to chill out. Lots of places to visit within driving distance. Owner very nice and met us when we arrived and came to say goodbye. The only downside is the shower. The pressure is very low. There is a bath too, which I made use of as we got rid of ours at home, for an elderly relative staying. The owner says it is next for upgrading. In spite of this we are hoping to go back next year.

I had a very relaxing week at the Garden Cottage. Perfect location for unwinding. Despite being part of a working farm, there was never any noise. Cottage was very comfortable throughout, especially the bed. My Dog loved the large garden to run about in. Cottage is very Dog friendly. My only minor niggle was the shower and hot water pressure in general. It's quite poor, although adequate (just about)A car is absolutely essential however should you wish to see the surrounding area. 20 miles from the East coast and similar distances to the likes of Kelso, Melrose and Galashiels, so no long drives. Overall, a great place to relax and unwind. If you're interested in star watching, it's a dark sky, no light pollution. Recommended and I will be booking again.
