Perched above the sparkling waters of the River Isla in beautiful Glenisla, this lodge makes a very comfortable base from which to explore the lovely surrounding area. Enjoying a peaceful setting with no near neighbours, it lies 2 miles from an adventure centre offering outdoor pursuits and cycle hire. Excellent hill walking, cycling and riding can be enjoyed locally as well as loch fishing (by arrangement), whilst Alyth, 11 miles, has shops and three golf courses. Shop and pub 10 miles.
The water is from a spring, well or borehole, and not a mains supply.
There is open water in the property grounds.

We have stayed in larch cottage several times , and it doesn’t disappoint, Excellent location. No noisy neighbours just wild life. We had red squirrels running about this time , wonderful to see . Looking forward to our next stay

We loved Larch Cottage- we really valued the privacy and seclusion. Loved to watch the abundant wildlife. The chalet had everything we needed. Our only regret is not booking 2 weeks instead of 1!

Very cosy and clean and well equipped with everything needed. The real star is the location - a very private magical setting right beside the river Isla, where you can relax and enjoy the local wildlife. Great area for walks and the Glenisla hotel is very welcoming with great food. Hope to return again soon.
