Snaptrip says

Larch Cottage in Aberfeldy is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its cosy atmosphere, convenient location, and comfortable amenities. Guests have enjoyed the surrounding wildlife and scenic walks, with several noting the property as a great base for exploring. The upside-down layout and the warm welcome with treats have been appreciated, although some guests mentioned minor issues with cleanliness and maintenance.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the cottage clean and tidy, with welcoming touches such as teabags and shortbread. However, a few guests reported cleanliness issues, including dirty floors and a dog odour, which slightly lowers the score.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its proximity to Aberfeldy and local attractions, offering easy access to walks and wildlife. The peaceful setting and nearby amenities contribute to a high score, despite minor traffic concerns.

Guests have consistently described the cottage as cosy, comfortable, and warm, with a particularly comfortable bed. The underfloor heating was a highlight, although some found the heating controls a bit tricky.

The cottage is well-equipped for guests' needs, with ample kitchenware and a good shower. Some guests suggested improvements in kitchen appliances and maintenance, such as the oven and vacuum cleaner.

While guests have mentioned the thoughtful gesture of being welcomed with treats like milk and shortbread, there are not enough references to consistently assess the thoughtfulness across all stays. Therefore, this score is set to null.

Had a lovely short break and the cottage was warm and cosy- a bit too warm overnight but manageable! Very well equipped- had everything you need! We took our dog- totally confused at first due to being an upside down cottage, but he also loved being cozy and warm! Perfectly placed for travelling around the area - and the surroundings are magical! Absolutely stunning views! We would definitely stay again!

It is a charming conversion with downstairs bedroom (underfloor heating, bliss!) and a surprisingly spacious and very comfortable kitchen/ sitting/ dining area upstairs. Well equipped kitchen, nice views from all windows and a great location. The owners were really helpful and sorted out any issues (none serious) straight away. Thanks for a great stay.

The cottage layout was well thought through and externally, parking for our car was very convenient. There is just one small point for improvement a suggestion, not a complaint. The heating system was pretty straight forward for us but may not be for everyone. As the weather was pretty mild during our stay, we did not require the heating to come on. However, the downstairs floor heating did come on during the night causing the bedroom to be far too warm so we had to adjust the thermostat. Some written explanation about the operation of the heating system and set temperatures for people staying would be useful to prevent having to get up unnecessarily during the night to switch it off, or vice versa if it gets too cold.
