We had a fabulous stay at Frith View the lodge was so big inside with large patio windows with stunning views from which you could watch the Deer and birds on the lake. We each had our own spacious en-suite bedrooms and could control the heating to suite ourselves. Ideal base to explore the Highlands we had an interesting tour of the Scottish Crannog Centre, Pitlockery Dam with the salmon ladder, Queens View. The host told us the road will be closed for the cycle race between 7:15 and 2 pm so we left early and travelled further a field to see Glencoe and Glen Etive. We travelled to Balmoral Castle, Scone Palace and Glamis Castle all within an acceptable distances of the lodge with beautiful scenery. We had a lovely meal at the courtyard recommended by the host. The only negatives were we all found the sofas too low but managed with the extra cushions, the washer dryer did not dry so we managed with the clothes horse and the heating was a little difficult to adjust. Thank you Sue, Sal & Amie
