The Junipers is rather dated but in spite of that is a very comfortable and well equipped house. A car is essential as it’s location is up a long farm track about 2 miles out of Tain. Unfortunately we were unlucky with the weather as Storm Floris struck and we were without power for 2 days. However the landlady very kindly provided us with a camping gas stove which was a life saver. When the weather improved we visited Dunrobin Castle and gardens - such a historic and beautiful place, it’s well worth a visit.
