Ballagan Lodge is presented in perfect condition, with a wrap-around non-slip deck. The white enclosed deck area has a patio table and chairs for al fresco dining. The living area is open plan, taking in the best of the views, with comfy sofa and chairs and a feature fire. The dining area has a smart table and four leather chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped perfect for cooking up a storm. There are two bedrooms, the main bedroom has a double bed and en-suite toilet. The second bedroom is a twin. The shower room has a shower cubicle and toilet. This property is presented in immaculate condition with smart bedding and towels.
Balagan Lodge is 2½ miles from Culloden Battlefield, which brought an end to the Jacobite rising in 1746, it has an on-site museum and you can walk the battlefield. The property is perfect for Outlander fans, as scenes from the series were filmed in the area. Also within easy reach is the pre-historic site of Clava Cairns. Inverness is the capital of the Highlands and has something for everyone, four golf courses, fishing, walking, water sports, a varied selection of local shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. For a family break there is the Aquadome, trampoline park, cinema and Eden Court Theatre. The property is close to the A96 taking you to Nairn where there is a sandy beach and an array of restaurants, cafés and bars. Why not take a trip to Loch Ness by car or a boat trip and experience the amazing scenery of the area and maybe spot Nessie our world-famous Loch Ness Monster. A lovely holiday destination. Lodge has everything you could require, fantastic views and quiet surroundings too. We had quiet and interesting walks. Was perfect for visiting many beautiful places during our stay, blessed with 7 days of lovely weather also. Loved Inverness, Nairn, Drumnadrochit, Fort George and, of course, Loch Ness. Will be visiting again and would highly recommend staying at Ballagan Lodge

We had a brilliant stay at Neils lodge, everything you need was there, like a home from home, within easy reach to where we had to be for appointments, we had a family emergency during our stay and we needed an extra night to stay as it was close to the hospital where we had to be, he was super accommodating and very understanding, and we would be more than happy to return for a more peaceful stay to take in the surroundings, thank you so much Neil!

We had a wonderful time at this cottage – it was exactly what we were looking for. The location was easily located by car and ideal for exploring the area, peaceful yet not too remote. The cottage itself was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. What really made it special was the host – warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy and convenient base in Inverness.
