Guests say

Feagour cottage is highly praised for its stunning location, cosiness, and privacy, offering a peaceful retreat with beautiful scenery and wildlife. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, warm wood burner, and thoughtful touches like pre-heated rooms. Despite some concerns about privacy due to a neighbouring property and road, the overall experience is one of tranquillity and comfort, with many looking forward to returning.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as clean and welcoming, indicating high standards of cleanliness. The property is well-maintained, contributing to the overall positive experience.

The cottage's location is frequently highlighted for its spectacular scenery and peacefulness, ideal for walking and enjoying nature. Some guests noted the proximity to a road, but traffic is minimal, and the location remains a strong positive aspect.

Reviews often mention the cottage's cosiness and warmth, with a wood burner and underfloor heating in the bathroom adding to the comfort. The beds are comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, although one guest mentioned a sloping mattress.

The cottage is well-equipped with kitchen amenities, a wood burner, and a utility room for drying clothes. However, some guests missed having a dishwasher and a more powerful kitchen light, and there were mixed comments about the availability of Wi-Fi.

While guests appreciate the pre-heated rooms and the provision of a utility room, there is no mention of gifts or additional thoughtful gestures that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

The cottage is immaculate and beautifully and stylishly presented. It is also very cosy (we were there during an unseasonal cold snap) and has every facility we needed for cooking entirely for ourselves and for every other aspect of our stay. It is also brilliantly situated in beautiful scenery with mountains in very easy reach (we are mountain walkers) and next to an arterial route between east and west making day trips to either Fort William or Inverness entirely feasible.
