Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Dornie Lodge is located in a rural, peaceful location just a short drive from Beauly, Inverness and Loch Ness. The lodge is one of six privately owned properties on a former small private park. The town of Beauly is 4 miles away where you will find a selection of restaurants, cafeés and bars. There is also a supermarket, butchers shop, gourmet eat-in/takeaway deli and a convenience store. The city of Inverness and Loch Ness are both 15 miles away where you will find local amenities and tourist attractions including Eden Court Theatre.
All rooms are on the ground floor, with a wide door and ramp access. The main living area is open plan with a wood burner, dining area with table and four chairs with views over the surrounding woodlands. There are two bedrooms, one kingsize and one double, both with wardrobe and bedside table. A wet room completes the accommodation. Outside is a patio area with seating, a fire pit and a barbecue built into the chimney stack. Beach 16½ miles.

We had a lovely stay at Dornie Lodge. The location is absolutely stunning and so peaceful... it was a perfect base for our time in the Highlands. The lodge had everything we needed, the welcome basket was a really lovely touch, and we especially enjoyed having the outside area to sit and take in the surroundings.There are just a few things that we felt could make an already lovely lodge even better. One of the bedrooms had no drawers, so storage for clothes was quite limited. We also found the living-room chairs very uncomfortable, which I noticed has been mentioned in previous reviews. The lodge does have a washing machine, but a washer-dryer would be a fantastic addition, particularly for colder or wet Highland days when drying clothes outside isn’t really an option.Those points aside, we really enjoyed our stay. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place and we came away with some wonderful memories of our Scotland holiday. We would definitely recommend Dornie Lodge. ❤️

Really nice lodge.Slighty smaller that it looks on the pictures but still OK.Bedroom 2 lack of storage had to keep clothes in case under bed.Bed mattress uncomfortable and room quite dark.Very well equipped and had everything you needed.We saw deer outside the Lodge 1 morning.Plenty of birds to see. We really enjoyed it and it was very peaceful and only 5mins into Beauly.Brill chippy and deli.We would definitely recommend this Dornie lodge,Thanks Sue&Alan Garmston

Perfect setting for time out. Very rare does one hear an unnatural sound. Saw two eagles one evening and a baby deer made its presence known on the morning we left.
