great location. However the cottage faciliities need attention:- patio doors seemed loose (we didn't dare use them after one attempt), other reviews complained of toilets not flushing all they need is the siphon mechanisms adjusting which was typiical of the whole place. It needs someone with DIY skillls to stay a few nights and restore things to a decent standard.

The house is well located at the shore of loch duich. Unfortunately all equipments are pushed at their limits, you fear you can break something while touching it. The toilet flushes were not properly working (2 out of 3). While the price in summer season is high, the ratio price quality is not good compared to another house we booked the week after . We will not recommend it.

Amazing location and the view to Eilean Donan was beautiful. The little beach on the property was a nice bonus. However the lack of a welcome pack set the theme for inside the property. No information on when the bins go out or how the appliances work etc. No information about local walks, restaurants, things to do. The property is very tired and smacks of a lack of investment. The carpets feel grubby and lots of the draw handles in the kitchen are loose and the extractor fan handle is missing. The sliding door to the en-suite in the master bedroom jams so you can't use the loo unless you don't mind someone watching. All the bathrooms are very old-fashioned. The beds were clean and quite comfy. The master bedroom really could do with a chest of draws. There is not enough cutlery or crockery for the number of potential guests. There was only 3 in our party and we were constantly washing up or putting on the dishwasher. The outdoor seating really needs an upgrade. There was no BBQ facilities, the only game was Scrabble, no books, a DVD player with no DVDs. Overall the property feels unloved.
