The most exciting thing about this cottage is the view. From the lounge you look over the loch to the mountains. The view changes every day. We found some lovely walks even though we mostly stayed local to Kyle and quite a few places to eat. Very importantly, we were too early for the midges

This is perfect... It was our third visit here and we will definitely come again. Only 2 things: The cooking pans need to be replaced..; the coating is almost gone. The front door is completely stuck.... you have to use the backdoor

Well, what a treat! Spectacular view, cosy cottage, pure relaxation to start the day and to return to after exploring. Some of the highlights on this trip were visiting Plockton, where we explored the beautifully picturesque village and had a boat trip to look at the seals. Climbing up to The Old Man of Storr and visiting the Fairy Pools in Skye.We discovered endless coffee shops, friendly people and the weather was just perfect. Blue sky and sunshine every day. Oh, and as a bonus, we had a visiting Pine Marten who enjoyed grapes and a raw egg each evening whilst we were asleep.Heaven on earth.
