Glengarry Castle Hotel is a traditional and comfortable country house hotel with a jewel of a setting on the shores of Loch Oich, which lies between Loch Ness and Loch Lochy at the heart of the Great Glen in the Highlands of Scotland. The property is ideal for outdoor lovers being centrally located for touring the Scottish Highlands to Inverness, Ben Nevis, Fort William, Eilean Donan Castle and the Isle of Skye. The hotel enjoys a well deserved reputation for Highland hospitality and the evening meals offered here are a real highlight, with the menu changing daily and based on traditional recipes using fresh local produce.

The building is Victorian with detailing such as a pine-panelled reception hall and the library and lounge where mellow oil paintings reflect the glow of a welcoming log fire. Good old-fashioned Scottish afternoon teas are a daily highlight and nearby, within the hotel's grounds comprising of 60 acres of tranquil woodland, stands the ruin of a notable landmark, Invergarry Castle. Indulge yourself by fishing for brown trout on the beautiful Loch Oich or take advantage of the Hotel's facilities, including rowing boats, a tennis court or enjoy stunning lochside walks.

All the bedrooms at Glengarry Castle are individual, no two bedrooms are quite the same. All 26 bedrooms are individually furnished, have private bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and direct telephone with reasonable charges. Some have four poster or half tester beds. Each bedroom has a portable radio and there are digital TV channels.

The hotel is completely non smoking. There is a wifi network throughout the hotel giving free internet access if you have your own laptop or pda with you. We also have a single internet booth available (for a small charge)
