Guests consistently praise its peaceful location, enclosed garden ideal for dogs, and proximity to local amenities and eateries. The cottage is cosy and perfect for couples, with many returning guests. While some mention minor issues with parking, comfort of lounge chairs, and occasional cleanliness concerns, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return for another relaxing break.

Most guests found the cottage clean and tidy, but a few reported issues such as dog odours, dust, and in one case, a cleanliness oversight in the bathroom. These concerns were not universal but noted by several reviewers.

The location is frequently described as perfect, with beautiful sea views, direct access to the coastal path, and close proximity to Anstruther and local amenities. Parking can be tricky at times, but the setting is a major highlight.

The cottage is praised for being well-equipped, with a full kitchen, washing machine, and everything needed for a self-catering stay. The secure garden is a bonus for dog owners, and the property is described as practical and thoughtfully arranged.

Low Tide is a great hideaway for two, perfectly located between the main busy harbour of Anstruther and the quieter picturesque delights of Cellardyke - and literally a stone's throw from the sea! The tidal pool along the road was a wonderful discovery. The property has been redecorated and improved since our previous stay and feels fresher. Parking could be tricky, but we didn't feel the need to use our car for the week of our stay, so it wasn't an issue for us! We could have done without the early morning noise from the upstairs guests and their dog but overall our stay was very relaxing and we would definitely book again.

Lovely situation looking over Forth estuary. Bit dark inside but comfy. Low back door - I banged my head every day and I'm only 1.6m!! Main problem was difficulty parking in picturesque but very narrow streets.
