This is a lovely holiday cottage. It is fully refurbed and as such is spotless throughout with everything new (including white goods) and working perfectly. The layout is great - with two separate sitting areas (with big telly !!), with one having the log burner - so cozy and works perfectly. Kitchen has everything you need - including pots, pans, plates, cutlery etc (even a sharp knife in the kitchen). Bonus on top - hot tub is brilliant - set just outside the patio doors. The road for the cottage is essentially a single width field road - so is deathly quiet all day and night - the odd car that's all. Beautiful view all the way across Dumfries to the coast. All in all - highly recommended - easy reach to "civilisation" - i.e. shops/supermarket - but fully quiet and peaceful.

We had a fabulous family bank holiday weekend at Berryrigg. The cottage was spotless with first class facilities. The owners had thought of everything to make it a home. All the little touches like the dressing gowns and slippers, binoculars, board games and things like fully equipped kitchen (tin foil, bin bags, washing tablets) The location is perfect with stunning views, we were in easy reach of some beautiful towns and villages. We would definitely return. Thank you
