We had a lovely time in this cottage. The garden was really nice. Unfortunately we could not enjoy sitting out in the garden as the weather not so good. We walked daily into Dumfries it took around 25 mins walking at a leisurely pace. The kitchen was very well equipped everything one would need. Very comfortable bed with plenty storage / hanging space. Bathroom down stairs wasn’t ideal for through the night trips? The bathroom could perhaps do with a refurb a walk in shower instead of the bath option. We would certainly return to Belmont Cottage Thank you

Nice cottage in a quiet and safe area. Only minor drawback is that the bathroom is in the ground level and the bedrooms are upstairs.
