Two super king bedrooms with en-suite showers are also located on the ground floor. Upstairs, you’ll find two additional bedrooms, another super king with its own en-suite, a twin bedroom and a spacious family bathroom. The first floor also houses a second living room, where you can unwind while enjoying panoramic views of the shimmering Solway Firth. Outside, the enclosed gardens provide a serene space for relaxation, with lush lawns and seating areas ideal for al fresco dining or simply soaking in the fresh coastal air.

We had a lovely week away. Clean, comfortable and well placed with the beach at the end of the road with lots to explore just a short drive. To make it perfect the frying pan needs replacing and the griddle pan is a disaster waiting to happen as the handle is loose. A couple of small pans needed too as catering size aren’t needed when there are just 4 guests. We hope to visit again soon!

Great spacious home with a lovely feeling right at the beach and easy distance to local sights and amenities. Open plan great for family time with ability to also have your own space if needed. Lovely views of the sea and green areas surrounding the house. Privacy without being remote. Local pub and chippie on the doorstep with ice cream on hand.

Quare Place. This is a bit of a mixed review. This house was perfect for our multi generational needs and the layout suited us perfectly. The beds were very comfy and the linen and towels clean. The garden was secure so the kiddies could play safely. However, there were some issues! They didn't spoil the holiday but just marred it a bit. Firstly on arrival when we entered the property it smelt of dogs, not too badly and once aired it went away. The cleaning of the place was poor. I understand the quick turn around must be difficult at times but it was obvious the showers hadn't been cleaned properly and the kitchen looked like it had been forgotten completely. It had dirty surfaces and we found old cooked food in the oven.There was dog excrement in the garden which one of the children stood in.The house is well equipped but would benefit from a dustpan and brush and a vacuum that worked well and didn't smell! The area was nice and we made use of the nearby facilities which were typical seaside type establishments. The fish and chips were excellent and we enjoyed a drink at the local pub.The beach is very rocky and not suitable for kids. We did find a lovely beach at nearby Sandyhills. All in all a good holiday cottage if more attention was paid to the cleaning!
