Heatherbank is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, stunning location, and comfort. Guests enjoyed the hot tub and the property's amenities, with special mentions of the generous welcome pack and attentive owner. Some noted the challenging driveway and ongoing garden works, but these did not significantly detract from the overall positive experience.
The cottage consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews describing it as spotless and well-maintained. This suggests a high standard of hygiene and care.
The location is generally praised for its beauty and proximity to local attractions like Loch Lomond. However, some guests found the access road challenging, which slightly impacts the score.
Guests found the cottage to be comfortable, with spacious rooms and a warm atmosphere. The presence of a hot tub added to the comfort level, although there were minor comments about sofa sizes and bathroom facilities.
The facilities are well-regarded, especially the hot tub and well-equipped kitchen. Some guests mentioned ongoing works and the need for minor improvements, which suggests room for enhancement in maintenance.
The owner's thoughtfulness is evident in the welcome pack and responsiveness to guests' needs. While gifts like champagne were mentioned, it should be noted that such gestures are at the owner's discretion and not guaranteed.
