We had a four night stay at this beautifully refurbished cottage. Everything you could need provided and to a very high standard. Dog friendly accommodation with a garden making it perfect for your four legged friend. We would definitely book again and love to come back in spring or summer to make use of the garden space and outdoor pizza oven. The cottage is so perfect for getting into York which was our main visit for the Christmas market and Kathe Wohlfahrt. After a day and early evening spent in the cold, the cottage was so warm to return too. We only had one fire as it was so toasty. The view from the front window while eating breakfast in the kitchen is beautiful and even more with the frost and sun rise. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Exceptional. If you are after a quiet location but within easy travel distance for York, Harrogate, Leeds and surrounding area then this is the perfect place. Breakfast at the farm shop next door starts the day off. Welcome treats for you and your four legged companions, if you take the dogs. Great secure garden for the dogs, sadly due to the rain never got to try the outdoor wood fired pizza oven, also never got to enjoy the wood stove as house is lovely and warm. Nice little timeline book of the renovations to the property which shows the care and attention taken. Glorious wood features throughout. Certainly a home from home.

Had a lovely stay at this beautiful and well equipped cottage. It was a homely stay in spacious surroundings which made it very relaxing after a long day out. Everything in this cottage has been thoroughly thought out and we had everything we needed and more.The welcome basket was a lovely personal touch which was very much appreciated, as were the fresh towels midweek.We enjoyed our stay so much, we booked again before we arrived back home. We couldn’t recommend enough 🦋.
