Jorvik - Woodsmill Quay at Queen’s Staithe is in the heart of York; it was originally built in the 19th century and used as a timber mill. York has been a key trading port since Roman times and the River Ouse remained tidal until the construction of Naburn Locks in the 18th century. Queen’s Staithe played a prominent role in the commercial development of York and it is still a working quay today. The property will be decorated for those staying during the festive season.

An excellent property with splendid views of the river and high enough up not to worry about flooding. It's within a very short walk of the city centre and close to the city walls which provide a good walk around York and provide superb views of the city.
