This former village shop has been a beloved fixture in Sinnington for over a century, situated conveniently across from the highly rated local pub, known for its delicious homemade meals and warm atmosphere. With the market town of Pickering nearby, visitors have easy access to a variety of attractions, including Pickering Castle, the Beck Isle Museum, and the popular heritage steam train that takes you across heather-clad moors to the coastal town of Whitby.

Stepping inside, the cosy kitchen offers a warm welcome, equipped with a large range oven that’s perfect for preparing hearty meals after a day of exploring. Adjacent to the kitchen, the open-plan dining and lounge area is the perfect space to unwind, with a comfortable sofa, TV, and a wood-burning stove that casts a warming glow on cool evenings. The ground floor also includes a bathroom, featuring a shower over the bath for your convenience. Upstairs, Meadowcroft offers two beautifully appointed bedrooms: a spacious master king bedroom and a single room, each with tasteful furnishings, wardrobes, and dressing tables. Excellent place to stay very pretty garden a lovely welcome after a very long drive .Every thing you needed could do with a little more cutely and mugs etc Would love to know where they purchased those lovely round tables. In the double bedroom .Thank the owner for making our stay in Yorkshire so special .Would return again

The cottage was excellent. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The only drawback as pensioners was having to go downstairs in the night for the toilet.
