A stunning two bedroom traditional lodge with open plan lounge and dining area with doors leading to the decking, a double bedroom with French doors to the decking, a twin room, shower room with a sauna and there is a well-equipped kitchen. Outside is a private decked area with a sunken hot tub and seating area. Adjacent parking and electric charging point. The perfect location for a family holiday with your four legged friend.

All the lodges are built to a traditional timber style and nestled around the edge of a small lake. They are well equipped and offer guests a high level of comfort throughout. There is a local pub just a short walk away which serves home cooked food. Each lodge has a private decked area with furniture and a private bubbling hot tub.
The park located just a couple of miles from the centre of york and is easy accessed by either public transport or by well connected cycle route. York offers guests an array of things to do including a vast collection of museums and experiences including the Jorvick centre and the national railway museum. The streets are lined with cafes and restaurants offering superb food and a great atmosphere or perhaps wander down the Shambles or explore York Minister, what ever your looking for York has something for everyone.
For guests wishing to explore the East coast with its beautiful seaside towns and small fishing villages all of these are just a short drives away. Fabulous lodge in a great setting and easy accessible to York centre via bus if u wish and easy to travel to Leeds, Hull etc for day trips

In lodge 2 Bristlecone. Arrived Monday evening with all info to enter the site and lodge - all good . We then went back out to the pub down the road for evening meal it was nice . We unpacked and sat out in the decking as the weather was cracking . Tuesday we sat out with breakfast . We took a drive out down the road about 10 mins to a retail park which was great . Back at the site we had a good look around , first impressions are that the site is well run and well kept and the lake was more like a large pond . There seemed to be plenty large fish in it . On our 3rd day as the sun was cracking the flags and it was my husbands birthday we decided to stay at the lodge and have a peaceful day and go in the hot tub and relax !! However , the gardener decided he was going to spend the day making lots of noise riding around on his ride on lawn mower !!! He did this around all the grass verges and around every lodge and the field at the top of the site ! The noise was relentless . I did ask him how much longer would he be as the noise was giving me headache !! He replied Iâm almost finished . Of which I was so glad . But No he then proceeded to start up a petrol strimmer and he went round all the lodges again with the strimmer which was louder than the mower ! We couldnât believe it . My husband went to speak to him , to inform him he had ruined our day ! He told the gardener we do realise it had to be done but to be doing it for over 6 hours was too much !! He informed my husband âthat maybe we go somewhere where they donât cut the grassâ . It was like being on a building site the whole day . So , with that we will NOT be returning as I felt that the gardener was somewhat rude in his answer ! Albeit the place was well kept and the lodge was nice but for what we paid for 4 night and 3 days wasnât really value for money . Especially if you go for some peace and quiet . Also to find it just on the outer edge of an industrial estate was unexpected .

Perfect break away. Lodge was ideal and immaculate. Outside covered decking was a godsend as we hit 32 degrees. Lowered hottub made it easy access. Beds and living area all comfortable. Honestly great place to relax and easy to get an Uber in and out of York.
