We’ve recently got back from Haddock’s Nook where we spent a wonderful week in a beautiful location. Helped by a week of full sunshine (the air con was very nice). Lovely, helpful owners who gave us some great recommendations for places to go (sandsend beach) and where to get some good fish & chips in Whitby (royal fisheries - best we’ve had in a very long time). Welcome pack on arrival was a lovely touch, a very nice barn conversion with lots of room and an abundance of wildlife on the doorstep. We all loved watching the hares every day & seeing the squirrels and deer. It was so quiet and peaceful. We saw some beautiful sunrises & sunsets. We found lots to do locally and also further afield, a week wasn’t enough for all the exploring we wanted to do so it looks like we’ll have to book again for another week in this lovely place.
