But, compared to several others we have used in Fylingthorpe and RHB, not the best. The property description should, we feel, point out that, internally, there are several staircases to negotiate. Not a particular problem for us, but anyone with even minor mobility issues would struggle. Everything worked, but cleanliness could be better. The cooker was filthy inside (and one of the doors is none too secure), the suite of furniture in the kitchen/diner needs a good, professional, clean but or main concern was the mattress on the double bed. Initially, it felt very lumpy and, in checking what the cause might be, we noted that a mattress topper was being used to cover very bad staining. This mattress is very much past it's best and should be condemned. Not a good advert for the owner. We have photographs to prove the point, should you need them.

    2. There was no hot water when we arrived as the boiler had been switched off, and we couldn't find out how to switch it on using the control unit. 3. It is a big house, but the kitchen is very cramped. It is impossible to open the oven or the dishwasher if someone is sitting at the kitchen table. 4. There was no soap in the downstairs toilet.
