A must is a climb up the 199 steps to the famous abbey, or a windswept clifftop walk along the Cleveland Way. The cottage is in a great location to easily get to Whitby and the surrounding area. It was very peaceful and we slept like logs in the comfy bed. It is fitted out to a high quality and spotless clean. If you have dogs there are safe fields on site with panoramic views of Whitby. The hosts Keith and Claire were lovely and welcoming and helpful. We were there for a lovely two weeks and it was emotional having to leave! Looking forward to going back next year.

It’s not often that I have been able to find such a fabulous place when booking to go away with my dog. The accommodation is fantastic with an extremely comfortable sofa and bed. Having the enclosed field in front of the cottage to walk Ernie off lead was a real bonus, especially with those views.Claire was great, responding almost immediately to a couple of comments raised. Would 100% recommend.
