The Cart House in Whitby is highly praised for its tranquil and picturesque setting, offering a peaceful retreat with stunning views. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, comfort, and dog-friendly environment. The wet room and accessible features are commended, though some minor maintenance issues are noted. The property is well-located for exploring the North York National Park and nearby coastal towns, with welcoming hosts adding to the positive experience.
The property is generally described as very clean, with only a single mention of cobwebs slightly detracting from the overall impression.
The location is consistently lauded for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and proximity to both the dales and seaside towns, making it an ideal base for exploration.
Guests find the accommodation comfortable, with a special mention of the quality of the wet room and the suitability for dogs, contributing to a relaxing stay.
Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped property and first-class wet room. However, there were issues with the operation of a rise and fall worktop, and the gravel courtyard posed challenges for wheelchair users.
There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for thoughtfulness.
