No TV no broadband hot tub looked really old water leaking underneath every day raggy cover in a terrible state. Fridge under worktop difficult to use. In the bedroom the wardrobe was not tall enough for ladies dresses, there was no dressing table, no TV the mattress on the bed was so soft you were scared to get near the edge in case you rolled off onto the floor. The fittings in the bathroom were cheap the toilet would not stop flushing. It was impossible to eat on the terrace as the chairs kept blowing away and it was very cold and there were only four chairs not six as shown in the photo. A pity as the view was amazing. When we got home on the 14th we would a message on our HOME phone with various information. This was timed at 2.05pm which was totally useless as by then we were on the way to the property. This felt like some sort of con to cover your backs so you could say you had given us extra information about the property NOT ACCEPTABLE. This holiday did not represent good value for the price it cost. If this is an example of Sykes Holidays quality control we are definitely not very impressed. We have stayed in many holiday cottages over the years and we have NEVER found on that had some many negatives to spoil what should have been a good break for us but which turned out to be a stressful time.

It’s an amazing location overlooking the sea in the distance, surrounded by idyllic countryside and wildlife. Our stay was started with a welcome basket of goodies and an incredibly welcoming sofa after such a long journey. Well maintain and presented it is the perfect place to switch off and relax. You’re not far from all the facilities you need to enjoy the perfect holiday from home. Highly recommended.

The cottage is well appointed, in a beautiful location & so accessible for local tourism spots. The following is shared to enable the owner to achieve 5 stars & does not reflect on the lovely time we had: - no Wi-Fi throughout stay & we couldn’t connect to the alternate mifi - flooring next to shower lifting & you could catch your foot on it - cleaning could be enhanced, there were numerous dusty areas (corners, skirting boards) - cover on hot tub worn as well as some of the inner covers
