Good location with short walk to centre attractions and easy access to surrounding countryside and tourist locations. Need to plan parking, as this is restricted to 1 hour outside property between 9am-7pm. However a Car Park is available 10 minutes walk away, with a 6 hour limit between 9am-7pm.

Everything about the cottage was warm and friendly with a Christmas tree as an added bonus. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. The tap in the kitchen was broken but was fixed quickly so not a problem to us at all. It highlights how much care there is for the guests. The only concern we had was that we had to wash many of the items in the kitchen before we could use them. I would suggest that allowing the cleaning team more time to check the kitchen would be of benefit. Absolutely brilliant house and we would love to come back.

A little tired, especially carpets and some marks on bedding. Cold tap in kitchen didn't work, although hot did! View shown is only possible by hanging out of upper bedroom window :-) Would recommend, and probably for the price you wouldn't expect perfection. Be aware of the parking if you plan to use as a base for exploring, but if you're staying in whitby and relaxing the leisure centre car park is nearby and FREE off season (£10ish other times). Whitby is awesome and staying in a period property is well worth the minor faults.
