Whalebone Cottage was lovely, it had enough space for us all and 2 little dogs too! Suggestions:- A non-slip mat in downstairs shower A couple of nightlights Check the lock on downstairs bathroom door!! Other than that, a fantastic holiday and would definitely stay in whalebone again. Thanks
Janet
The cottage is plenty big enough for everyone to have enough space. There is ample parking for 3 cars and a gate that closes to secure dogs. We did take long leads just in case. The cottage was clean and tidy, likely recently decorated, could smell the new carpets (not in a bad way!). The kitchen looked pretty new too and everything in it to cook your own meals if you donât intend to eat out/order in. The owners were very nice and checked all was ok as they walked past. Itâs just over a mile to Whitby, the walk is down hill so pretty easy. Wouldnât hesitate to stay here again and hopefully be back at some point!
