    Ashes Well House is extremely well situated and the bonus for us was having a car parking space outside the front door. The house was immaculately clean and all the furnishings were top notch. The kitchen was wonderful and the whole house was spacious and airy. Our party of five ranged from ages 5 to 65 and it was suitable for all. Stairs were a bit steep, especially to the top floor but we probably needed the exercise. Pannett Park at the end of the street was a godsend for the wee one whose daily jaunt to the play park was obligatory, as well as a daily stroll through the well kept gardens for the older members of the family. Only down side was the noise of the seagulls - but what else do you expect from a seaside property!

    A perfect holiday cottage with parking a real bonus. Whitby is a little gem and will definitely be back. First time we've used Ingrid Flute, I'm sure it won't be the last.
