Great place to stay on the outskirts of Whitby just a 10 minute stroll to town. Rear patio area is a real sun-trap. Off road parking a real bonus too. Highly likely to return again soon.

Stayed here just before Easter amidst a wet and windy Whitby, but Silver 6pence was such a cosy house that once we were back from sightseeing and tucked up inside we were happy. The property had everything we could have asked for, being well equipped and comfortable without over fussy. Great location with its own parking and local shops eateries and amenities too. Located a 15-20 minute stroll along West Cliffs to reach the harbour and town centre was ideal for walking the dog, enjoying the views out to sea and coastal parkland.
