Lovely holiday home. Nothing local unless you have a car. However there are dog friendly pubs doing amazing food a few mins drive.It would be helpful if there was a hand rail to help with those less able getting in and out of shower which is over the bath.There is a very small decked enclosed patio which is nice but not suitable for larger dogs, however the walk over the viaduct is easy accessible for those late night toilet walks for your dog.Carpet is very stained, but the rest of the house is very clean and well stocked with all you need.Can be a little noisy when people hanging about on the viaduct but normally settles down as the evening where’s on.Ideal for those who are on a hiking/cycling holiday or those who want to just wander up and down different beaches and relax.

We stayed at shalom for 5 days and the beds and bedding were very clean and comfy, the carpet in the living room. Could do with changing to wooden flooring with it being pet friendly,it needs a good clean. loads of pots crockery,but was disappointed with the (enclosed back garden) there isn't one only a bit of decking so not safe for a large dog..also the location was too far out for us there is no pubs,restaurants nearby unless you drive into whitby.
