Seacliff Cottage in Whitby offers a prime location with sea views and proximity to the beach, appreciated by guests for its enclosed garden and overall charm. While some guests have concerns about dated decor and furniture comfort, the property's setting and homely feel are well-regarded.
Mixed feedback on cleanliness, with several guests finding the property clean, while others reported issues with dust, cobwebs, and stained linens. The inconsistency leads to a slightly above-average score.
The location is highly praised for its close proximity to the beach and sea views, making it a favourite for guests interested in sea sports and beach access.
Guests have mixed feelings about comfort, with some finding the property cosy and others dissatisfied with the furniture and bed quality. The need for updated seating and mattresses is noted.
Facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and technology. However, concerns about maintenance, such as door locks and heating control, affect the score.
While some guests appreciated welcome packs and dog treats, there is insufficient information to determine if these are consistent offerings, and thus the score is set to null.
