With two private parking bays on the driveway, you can enjoy stress-free arrivals and easy day trips to Robin Hood’s Bay, Staithes, Runswick Bay, and Scarborough, all of which are just a short drive away.
The lodge is laid out across two floors, with external steps leading up to the main entrance above the double garage. At the rear, a decked seating area invites you to enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks in the fresh air. Inside, you’re welcomed into a stylish and well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar—perfect for light meals and relaxed mornings.

Overall, an excellent place for a holiday in Whitby. Great to have parking, which is quite limited in Whitby. Nice, quiet location with the added edition of owls in the evenings, which was great! All the little unxpected additions, like milk, biscuits & prosecco was a really lovely touch. The kitchen had plenty of utensils & everything you need, the same with the house overall. The only thing negative was that the two sofa's were quite uncomfortable, which i have seen other reviewers mention, which is a shame after a long day out and about. However, the weather was so good while we were there, we sat outside in the lovely garden in the evening so it didn't matter too much. Thank you for a great stay 😊

We enjoyed our stay, accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Location was alright, but it is a good half mile into town and it's up hill on the way back! Whitby was impressive and plenty to see, would recommend the Abbey and Captain Cook museum .

After a six hour journey the welcome pack was fantastic and very much appreciated. Tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and mainly for the wife, Prosecco. The only negative thing was the uncomfortable sofas. Very helpful and lovely chat with Jules who explained the reasoning behind it. All in all we had a great time and would gladly stay again.
