With two private parking bays on the driveway, you can enjoy stress-free arrivals and easy day trips to Robin Hood’s Bay, Staithes, Runswick Bay, and Scarborough, all of which are just a short drive away.
The lodge is laid out across two floors, with external steps leading up to the main entrance above the double garage. At the rear, a decked seating area invites you to enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks in the fresh air. Inside, you’re welcomed into a stylish and well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar—perfect for light meals and relaxed mornings.
The spacious living and dining area offer a homely space to unwind, with two leather sofas, a TV, an electric fire, and a dining table with bench seating. A convenient separate toilet is also located on this floor.

Excellent property within walking distance of the town centre. Despite being very close to a main road it’s very quiet. Nice walks/bike rides on the cinder track just a few minutes away. Owners very helpful & answer any queries quickly. In Whitby we’d recommend Dr Cranks ghost walk & in Scarborough the Lifeboat fish bar is fantastic.

Rosemount Lodge proved to be a perfect for our 4 day short break to Whitby. The Lodge is very well equipped for self catering and offers a lovely sunny patio on a morning for breakfast and a pretty garden with lawn for warmer days. The road is peaceful and quiet so no problems getting a good nights rest and being able to park the car without charge within the property area is a bonus.The accommodation is cosy and warm, it was spotless and the lovely touches of toiletries and treats was a kind gesture. We found the location great, you are able to walk to the top of the road and catch a bus to Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Scarborough, or alternatively cross the road and access the cinder track Walking to whitby harbour took 10 minutes 15 coming back up the hill.We would definitely stay here again if returning to Whitby.

Lovely accommodation in a great location. Clean, comfortable and well maintained, with lovely touches throughout. Host was great, really responsive and thoughtful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
