River Side in Whitby is praised for its ideal location, cleanliness, and well-equipped kitchen. Guests appreciate the dedicated parking, spaciousness, and the property's proximity to the town centre. The accommodation is described as great for a weekend break and is a preferred choice for return visits.
The property is generally described as clean and well-maintained. One mention of a small amount of mould in the bathroom suggests room for improvement, but overall, the cleanliness is highly regarded.
The location is consistently highlighted as ideal, with easy access to the town centre and the benefit of a dedicated parking space. The flat walking distance to amenities is a notable positive aspect.
The property is considered comfortable, with a spacious holiday apartment and good-sized bedrooms. However, no specific mention of bed comfort or living space comfort is made, preventing a higher score.
Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and adequate basics. The absence of a washing machine and towels, and a mention of squeaky door mechanisms, indicate some areas for improvement.
There is no mention of gifts or additional thoughtful touches provided by the host, so it is not possible to assess this category.

Adequate accommodation but certainly no frills! All the basics were there but a washing machine would have been helpful. Other than that enjoyed our stay.

Overall great accommodation within relatively flat walking distance from town centre. An information pack for accommodation and local amenities would have been helpful.
