Lovely house. Very clean and tidy. Well located for walking into town. Lots of pots pans cutlery. Extremely dog friendly bowls leads poo bags just in case you forgot anything. Garden secure. Very generous welcome pack. WiFi strong. Nice open plan space downstairs. Good size bedrooms comfy bed. My only little niggles three remote controls for one smart TV? you only need one đ€Ł. I bring a lot of clothes so a bigger wardrobe would be good although you could put your clothes in both bedrooms. And a bin upstairs would be handy. But nothing to stop us coming back lovely house obvious owners have taken a lot of pride in it.

The cottage was immaculately clean, with all amenities available. Thank you for the welcome hamper. Beautiful location over looking the Whitby harbour and within walking distance to the town. There is onsite parking but beware if someone parks opposite the driveway it is a very tight squeeze to get out, would be ok if you have a medium size car not a large car like us. The other down points for us was the garden is not safe for small dogs we have Dachshunds and the gap under the gate is big enough for them to get under. The poles surrounding the raised patio outside the kitchen are wide enough for them to get through which isn't good when there is a 4ft drop below. Could be easily rectified with some meshing of some sort. There are also 4 or 5 deep steps down into the garden which is on several levels which is also not good for their backs or people with limited mobility but that is not stated in the booking details or shown on any of the pictures. We got around needing to use the garden by taking the dogs to the small piece of grass next to the house. Wasn't ideal as the front of the house also has 3 deep steps, but I carried them and we enjoyed the holiday. I would recommend the property it is beautiful just a shame we couldn't use the garden.
