The detached barn is in an idyllic holiday location at any time of the year, with beautiful walkways and cycling tracks and fishing available from the doorstep. Quaint little villages are abundant with tearooms, country pubs and restaurants. Whitby, with its historic connections to Captain James Cook and 3 miles of sandy beach, is easily accessible. Shops 2 miles.

We had a wonderful stay at Finkle Barn. Jane was very friendly and helpful on arrival. The barn itself is spotless and we enjoyed a couple of days of our trip just staying inside as it is a lovely space. We particularly loved how well equipped the kitchen was as we enjoy cooking. We would definitely like to return.

Finkle Barn is a very comfortable and well equipped home, we all enjoyed our stay and the location is serene. Its on a working farm but you wouldn’t know it and the host is most welcoming. Highly recommend 😊

We had a lovely relaxing time away at Finkle Barn, we didn’t visit much of the area apart from driving through (the scenery on the way is breathtaking) but instead stayed in the cottage and spent time together as a family.Finkle barn was so cozy and warm, the decoration is so homely and beautiful. It’s the most well equipped place we have ever stayed in, it literally felt like a second home for the weekend. Everything has been thought of from extra towels, blankets to books, games and dvds. The hosts were brilliant, friendly and polite and even brought us some freshly baked brownies.
