We really enjoyed our stay at Fairhead Cottage. It was warm, cosy and clean. There was a little welcome pack of teas, coffees, a beer and some ginger biscuits which was a sweet touch.It was a working farm so keep your dogs under control if you take them and be respectful of this. Also bear in mind the pub a mile away is a walk down a steep hill, which you then have to walk back up! It is manageable but maybe have a designated driver if you struggle walking up steep hills.Kate was helpful and friendly during our stay.The area was gorgeous; Whitby was about a 15-minute drive and Robin Hood’s Bay about 20 minutes.Overall a great trip!

We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage is clean and very comfortable. Best of both worlds being in the country and only 15 minute drive from lovely dog friendly beaches.
